Follow these steps to order your new specialty plate:
As of July 1, 2003, you may purchase your specialty
license plates directly from your local county courthouse in
Montana, or order sample plates directly from the Museum.
For those of you who live outside Montana and wish to
purchase a sample plate, they are available by calling (406)
638-1876. You may order a random number plate or we
can special order a place with 6 characters. Please
see example below.
Please let us know if you would like to special order.
Sample plates are limited to six (6) letters, numbers and/or
spaces. Some pre-stamped plates are available for
purchase from the Museum. Please call (406) 638-1876
for more information.
